Dear Jonathan, Sarah, Josh, and Christina,
I received some new photos of you all. With a note asking for discretion, I’ll show them only to our family, for the time being. It is wonderful seeing them. Heartbreaking how many of us parents have had their kids stolen by Calvary Temple in Sterling Virginia. Lure in younger adults, quietly begin to insinuate bad things about their biological family. While elevating the 'Calvary Temple family’ as superior. Thank God nowadays, people have wised up and are not afraid of telling what happened to their family at the hands of this church. Great families, shattered and destroyed and remade in the image of what Star Scott thinks they should be. Of course, your kids are nice looking, hard-working, smart, have money from their parents, they are even more precious to the leadership.
But you are our children. Anyone who puts down your parents to you is a bad guy. Anyone who encourages you to cut off your parents is a bad guy. And a coward and bully. Whether it's a pastor, or anyone….good people encourage you to forgive, communicate, love, and appreciate your parents and heritage. My parents weren’t ‘perfection’, they were wonderful, and mine! Dad’s parents weren’t ‘perfection’; they are his, and wonderful for him. I’ve never understood how adults could try and keep another person's kids, encouraging estrangement. What's that all about? I loved, enjoyed, and honored my parents, my grandparents, my aunts and uncles. This is truly an evil church, where the shattered hearts of parents and spouses and siblings are being offered up as sacrifices to their pastor-Star Scott of Sterling Virginia. And if he is not culpable, then he should send our kids back to us, to make amends for the years of sorrow and silence. How many parents? Too many, scattered over several states, cannot see their kids or talk to them freely. Possibly a stray photo or call now and then, to see if they are repentant or broken enough yet. It’s all a mind game. A joke that makes Christianity look like a three-ring circus.
Jonathan, Sarah, Josh, and Christina, you are doing wrong. I advise you to come home, meet with your parents, and make amends for the horror you have put us through. We love you. And always will love you. But a terrible wrong has been perpetrated against us, and you have allowed it, at the direction of your pastor, your ‘church’, and those of your ‘church family’. Time is short. You won’t have us around for long, so get a move on.
Love and hugs,
Mom
