Hello. Actually there are 5 grandchildren in the photo. One of them belongs to the sweet gramma from NY, who killed herself when she could no longer see her son and 3 grandchildren in Calvary Temple Church. A horrible story of ‘cutting off mom/gramma’ which was shared ( https://dearcalvarytemple.blogspot.com/2022/09/re-printed-letter-from-don-reed.html). It’s disturbing that Pastor Scott, his church and followers lie when folks ask questions about these situations. Maybe denial, lies and silent treatment are their only course of action. Telling the truth is the end of Pastor Star Scott’s empire and power.
I write because I love my children. I write because I love my grandchildren. I want to see them. Stop isolating. I will stop writing.
Moving along. Pastor Jonathan Miller. A young nice guy. Raised at Calvary Temple Church in Sterling, Virginia. Attended the christian school on the premises. His father was a pastor (he left in 2012), under Pastor Star Scott. His father had 2 affairs in the church. Was benched after each affair. Then brought back to teaching the children. Did repent of his sins publicly. Got a regular job. His wife worked in the church office. He also pastors elsewhere. They have 2 children, a daughter who left Calvary Temple Church and son Jonathan Miller.
Pastor Jonathan Miller cut off his parents when they left the church. He’d cut off his sister for the same. At one point Richard Miller openly spoke of the corruption of Calvary Temple Church. Pastor Scott asked for a meeting with Richard Miller (Jonathan’s father). They agreed to disagree. Jonathan was then allowed to see his parents, and they could see their grandchildren. But Pastor Richard Miller told me, if subpoenaed against Calvary Temple Church in a court case, he would be sued by Pastor Star Scott because of a signed NDA (non-disclosure agreement).
Pastor Jonathan Miller was ordained to preach by Pastor Star Scott out of highschool. He is Scott’s appointed successor. He is tasked with teaching the children. In school and in childrens church. Including my grandchildren above.
It is a worth noting that Pastor Jonathan Miller’s wife, Adele, cut off her sister and family for leaving Calvary Temple Church. Obviously a disturbing pattern.
