#6 Dear Jonathan, Sarah, Joshua and Christina,
Looking forward to hearing from you kids. Until then, I will keep writing these letters to you, sharing my concerns regarding Calvary Temple Church and it’s leaders. I don’t think you know these stories, we sure didn’t. When folks do learn, they leave. Please leave.
Today it’s Pastor Forbe Carlson. Again, seems a harmless man. He’s been with Pastor Star Scott for decades, since a young man. Soon though, he cut off his extended family. (Currently he speaks to some.) It is credibly alleged that he molested a high school student at the Calvary Temple Church school while teaching there years ago. He was married with young children. It was swept under the rug. The young girl did not tell her parents until they finally left the church. Of course they were broken for their daughter. Who still carries the wounds.
Soon after, Pastor Scott sent Pastor Forbe Carlson off to Maine to help a fledgling church, taking it over. It failed to thrive. Was subsequently sold and proceeds went to Pastor Star Scott’s organization. Pastor Forbe Carlson returned to Calvary Temple Church in Sterling Virgina. He was sent over to Kenya, Africa. To assist Pastor Robbie Hendrikson.
All these pastors have signed NDAs (Non-disclosure Agreements) for Pastor Scott’s organization. Their homes are donated (sacrificed) to Pastor Scott’s orgainization. If they quit Calvary Temple Church they must leave their house (or buy it back), they lose their livelihood, they lose their retirement, they lose health and life insurance. If they speak to others regarding criminality or sin in the leadership, they will be sued for breaking the NDA. (Former Pastor Richard Miller told me.)
One more disturbing story. A few years back, a male student told his deacon there was a peep hole in the boys bathroom. On a connecting wall to the girls bathroom. And the highschool boys used it. The deacon checked. Sure enough one was apparently built into an inconspicuous spot. The deacon reported it to Pastor Forbe Carlson. Pastor Forbe laughed and said “Boys will be boys.” The deacon waited a few days for something to be done. Or mentioned. Nothing. It was still there. So he got the materials and filled the peephole himself. Quietly. He didn’t raise a fuss. He left a while later with his family.
It grieves my heart. My children and grandchildren seduced by bad men. Come out from among them. Be ye seperate. If you follow them, you may learn their ways. Repent kids!
Love, Mom
