#11 Dear Jonathan, Sarah, Joshua and Christina,
It was a busy weekend. I looked for you to come by for Easter. I think one your children has a birthday this month. Folks were shocked to learn that Pastor Star Scott tells you not to inform your mother and father on the birth of your children. At the dedication above of little Nathan, a couple years ago, we knew nothing. Not his birthdate, his dedication, his name and weight. But Pastor Scotts wife Greer cuddled my grandson with her husband happily enjoying how he has separated my 4 kids from us. God hates theives. God hates sacrificing family. God hates those who cause division in families. Calvary Temple 101. Steal, kill and destroy. The devil’s job description. I will stop writing these letters, when you stop isolating from me.
Moving along to the top dog of Calvary Temple Church of Sterling, VA. Pastor Star R. Scott. He has been investigated by the IRS, ATF, FBI, Loudoun County Sheriff's Dept., several news organizations. In the words of Gramma, ‘How is this guy not in jail or shut down.’ Well, he is wealthy. Really wealthy. He has one of the top lawyers in the country. Most people don’t have the kind of money he has. His back story of coming to the East Coast after being given the left foot of fellowship on the West Coast over allegations of sexual misconduct with minor children and as youth pastor. It’s a compilation of years of research by an intrepid researcher mom, Michelle Freeman, who raised her children at Calvary Temple Church until her family was destroyed by Pastor Star Scott. For no reason.
What I’d like to focus on is that Pastor Star Scott turns kids against their parents. He is clever and secretive. In my opinion, he has files on every family and kid in there. His main vehicle to seduce the kids is youth group. Which is off limits to parents. (They are cagey in discouraging access. I insisted on attending, but after 2x was informed that my presence was making the kids reticent. Naturally, I no longer went, although I didn’t know the youth group leaders well or how they operated.) In this youth group and in the christian school on the property, they are actually teaching kids to leave their parents if the parents decide to leave the church. (Leaving Calvary Temple Church is equated with leaving God.) Don’t tell your parents-they won’t understand; what is going on in youth group/christian school.
Pastor Star Scott and his under-pastors did this with my kids, So I’ll share another family’s story. You know this family. Or did. They left a couple years after our family was destroyed. They were alarmed by the way church leadership was talking with their kids. By now they had done some investigation and found out from others how families were actually being divided quietly. Under the ‘Don’t gossip-rule of silence!’
So they had their kids take a vacation to out of state grandparents. Before leaving on the airplane, the parents suggested it would be a better vacation leaving electronic devices at home. Just use the telephone for communication. The kids agreed, and left. The parents went to the church right away, had a meeting with Pastor and shared concerns, scriptures, convictions. No resolution. They tendered their resignation from the church. Within minutes of that meeting, their kids cellphones were blowing up. With texts and calls from kids in the youth group, Pastor Jeff, Greer Scott, Kimberly Scott Heglund. Saying it’s important for you to call us, if you need a place to stay, we are here for you. Don’t leave, your parents are in sin, we will protect you, etc. This went on for days. The parents were in shock. Of course, and thankfully, by the time vacation with grampa and gramma was over, a drama had played itself out. The kids came home. Mom and dad explained everything, showing them the phone messages and calls. It was a shocking and sad time, as the kids realized they were being systematically groomed by their youth group and leaders.
As awful as this story is, it had a happy ending. The family is intact, still loving God, kids are really well, parents are really well. Love their folks, living their lives, glad to be away from Calvary Temple Church. So many families are not so fortunate. They did not know to research, they were trusting, or vulnerable due to life situations. Dozens have been destroyed. Most believe that every family in Calvary Temple Church has had to sacrifice at least one family member. Families intentionally divided through divorce by the leadership. Too many young adults only speak to the parent/s who will attend Calvary Temple Church.
Kids, this is demonic. God tells us in 1 Peter (I really like the Books of Peter!) 5:8 “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” This is a description of what happens at Calvary Temple Church. Families are destroyed, young kids lives are devoured. Under the direct supervision of Senior Pastor Star R Scott of Sterling, Virginia. He is a false shepherd. He is a false teacher. He is disqualified from pastoral service according to 2 Timothy 3:13,16 “But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived…Moreover he (the man of God) must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.” Pastor Star Scott has a bad reputation. Except among his paid under-pastors. A self-serving, mutually beneficial corrupt system, that leads to cycles of abuse on church followers and their families.
