Letter to My Children (June 17, 2022)
Dear Jonathan, Sarah, Josh, and Christina,
How are you? How are the grandchildren? We love the photos of you that are sent. Will be over at your cousins today, and show them to him. He always asks about you. I have been working the gardens. Hoping to do a lot of canning this year. Already eating the lettuce and radish and green onions. Made a strawberry-rhubarb pie from what was in the garden last week, actually 5 of them. For us and family.
But every day, try to just walk in the woods or field or down the road. It’s beautiful and peaceful. While walking the other day, put Isaiah 53 on audio. Comforting words. The birds seemed to hush as they listened about Jesus. I love you all. Cannot wait to see you and hug you. I know you are coming soon.
Love Mom
