Letter to My Children (May 26, 2021)

Good morning Jonathan, Sarah, Josh, and Christina,

How are you and your families? Had breakfast with Chuck and Linda after church yesterday. Along with some old friends, and we talked about true Christianity. Angel of light versus knowing the truth which sets us free! Repentance, confession, forgiveness, reconciliation, the hallmarks of our faith are NOT silent or passive or reclusive. But active and hopeful! (Matthew 5)

Enemies become friends! Removal of the evils of isolation, separation, condemnation. Satan is the accuser of the brethren, and he is diligent in it, accusing people relentlessly. Power to subjugate and distance one another comes from evil. Come let us reason together, says God. God is good. Those who love God, love goodness. They help turn the hearts of the children to the fathers and mothers. Fathers and mothers don’t save children, God saves. Giving us to our families as changed individuals. To show first our own, then the world, the goodness of God in us.

Your foundation is important. Look at the foundation of my log house above.….even though soon to be covered by dirt, the house that will rest upon it will be in full view. Everyone will see if it is crooked or weak in any part of the foundation. A house of faith is unsound if it does not follow the above measurements of God I will keep on, coming to see you, sending you my love, kindness, truth, patience, bravery, resilience, gentleness, forgiveness.

When we are together again…this blog will no longer be needed. Until then, it is the only way for me to communicate with my own children. Xo love always. Mom
