Morning guys. Visited with a former Calvary Temple attendee yesterday. (https://calvarytempleva.org/churches ) Check out this site, Calvary Temple of Buffalo (New York) is 50 minutes from me. I want to hug you all and dry the tears and put this behind us. My letters will go away when pastor Star Scott lets you be part of our lives again.
Today I want to tell you a little of Dan Konzal and his wife Yelena. Yelena and her first husband immigrated here in the 1990’s. Shortly after arriving in the Sterling area, Yelena’s husband and father of their 5 children died of a heart attack. Leaving her alone in a foriegn country. A vulnerable widow, she sought out the church closest to her apartment. And shortly thereafter was encouraged to marry bachelor Dan Konczal. The church accountant and highschool teacher. Dan had already persuaded a young man from Buffalo NY to come live with him, and change his name to Konczal. Dan also led many Calvary Temple African mission trips. He had Yelena change her kids last names to Konczal. Not adoption. Four of the five adult kids are now cut off from their mother on Pastor Star Scott’s orders. The family have terrible stories. Yelena shared some personal stories while we were at Calvary. I was appalled. Within days, she was told by Pastor Scott to apologize to me for lying and gossiping about her husband Dan. Our old deacon Waleed Zarou told me to pay no attention to anything Yelena says, as she exaggerates to get attention. (Her children disagree.) However, my daughter Christina is now married to Yelena’s remaining son Michael. None of us were notified of Christina and Michaels marriage. It was hidden.
Remember the times Dan Konczal came up to our farm to visit? He was friendly and personable. Many of our christian friends met and liked him. I have photos of those visits. But Dan did not tell us that he participated in destroying several parent/child relationships. Dan acts friendly, I think they call it ‘grooming’. But if he he’s estranging your child from you, he won’t answer the door when you knock. Or talk to you if you see him. Or answer your call or text. Why?
Kids, Jesus tells us how to know a christian. By their actions towards others. You cannot say you know and love God and hate others. You’ve forgotten what Jesus did and said. xo Mom

Parable of the Good Samaritan
30 Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he encountered robbers, who stripped him of his clothes [and belongings], beat him, and went their way [unconcerned], leaving him half dead. 31 Now by coincidence a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.32 Likewise a Levite also came down to the place and saw him, and passed by on the other side [of the road]. 33 But a Samaritan (foreigner), who was traveling, came upon him; and when he saw him, he was deeply moved with compassion [for him], 34 and went to him and bandaged up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them [to sooth and disinfect the injuries]; and he put him on his own pack-animal, and brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 On the next day he took out two denarii (two days’ wages) and gave them to the innkeeper, and said, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I return.’ 36 Which of these three do you think proved himself a neighbor to the man who encountered the robbers?” 37 He answered, “The one who showed compassion and mercy to him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and constantlydo the same.”
