Letter to My Children (August 18, 2021)

Dear Jonathan, Sarah, Josh, and Christina,

Hello dear hearts. Woke up at 4 am, dreaming of you. So made coffee, and read the news of the withdrawal from Afghanistan. The fear on the faces of those trying to save loved ones is familiar. Praying for them, for you, for the grandchildren. I heard a podcast that described 3 stages used by tyrants to take control of a people or country. The first step is to eliminate the intellectuals (people who ask questions are acknowledged to be intelligent). The second step is to isolate people (as in isolating them from those who could help them, protect, love, are connected to them). The third step is to control information they hear and read. And control what information is allowed outside to those not being isolated (You know nothing of our lives, except through this blog if you dare to read it, or are informed what it says by others. And we know nothing about you, except for those who write me to share photos and information.)

Direct communication between us is forbidden, not allowed by your leadership. God has something to say regarding those who hide from their own flesh and blood. And it’s not good. Come into the light kids! It is free and beautiful. You will see and learn all sorts of things, you know nothing of now. While playing with the light setting for this photo of the log cabin, I noticed that as I decreased the light, few attributes of the building were seen. Increase the light, and more of the building and people (family), working on it, are illuminated.

Read a saying on an old library yesterday. It was engraved beside the door lintel. ‘Walk in the light, and the shadow will always be behind you.’

I love you all, with my whole being. Come home. Call, write, or text. We will answer you right away!

Love hugs and kisses, Mom
