Dear Jonathan, Sarah, Josh and Christina, 
How are you? We are having a beautiful western NY fall. I wish you were here to take walks with me through the park. Was looking for a photo. Spied this. I was painting an apartment with Aunt Jackie (your cousins first apartment), when the call and photo came. Recall sitting down on the toilet seat and crying. Josh you were barely 19 and recently graduated from highschool. Neither of your parents were allowed by Calvary Temple Church in Sterling, Virgtinia- to attend, know your grades or teachers, attend your basketball games, (heck we didn’t even know where you were living!), and subsequently attend your marriage. We found out after it took place.

Because Calvary Temple is teaching young kids, teenagers, young adults to completely cut off and isolate from their own parents and anyone in the family who does not want to attend Calvary Temple in Sterling Virginia, or who has been shunned for non-compliance to Pastor Star Scott. 

This past few months, several stories of abuse both new and old, have sought me out. I always post my phone number so I can be reached day or night. Was shocked to hear that decades ago, elementary school age children were given quarters to call the pastors/deacons if their parents pulled them from the school and church. And the pastors said they would come and get them! So they wouldn’t go to hell with their parents who left the church!!!!!!

Pastor Scott has never said any of this in a sermon. But behind the scenes, in the christian school, in childrens church, in youth group, in young adults group—well this is what is being discussed. Very carefully. But thankfully, brave children grow up and do speak out.

You, my sons and daughters, have been lied to. Manipulated by scheming men and women. Shake off the control and false information. Pursue the truth. Come and talk with me.
